    • In 1966, a television franchise was born that has thrilled and entertained audiences around the globe for more than half a century! Eiji Tsuburaya (the Godfather of Tokusatsu) made his name with Godzilla, Rodan and Mothra and building on that success, he launched his own studio with the concept: Ultra Q!

      A revolution in TV content was spawned -airing in primetime on TBS- Ultra Q was an overnight runaway success. Ultra Q evolved into the landmark global phenomenon ULTRAMAN, and, to date, Tsuburaya Studios have produced dozens of TV series, theatrical movies, anime and huge merchandising lines, even recognised by the Guinness World Book of Records. The original series established new heights of quality adventure and special effects-driven entertainment and built a worldwide audience for the property.

      Hailing from the distant Nebula M78, ULTRAMAN is a sleek silvery being who merges with a human form and has the ability to extend his height to over 150 feet. He emerges in times of extreme danger to protect Earth and the human race from an array of invading aliens and terrifying monsters.

      The Ultraman Catalogue includes all series and features since 1966 to present day for worldwide outside of Asia.
