    • Synopsis
    • By the time of filming, only 22 of the 200,000 Chinese victims forced into sexual slavery during World War II remained alive. Through a restrained and careful approach, we will take a look at the current situation of those 22 elderly ladies. You will see their actual living conditions, hear them talk about their experiences, and also learn about their own perspectives on life, including both sufferings and happiness.
We hope that by an appropriate approach, those little pieces of history can be picked up and put together again, and those historical facts which may soon be lost can be preserved permanently. We’re wondering if the busy world could stop for a moment and listen quietly to them telling their own stories one more time, because it is time that we pay final tribute to these lovely elderly ladies.
