- Synopsis
- In 2007, DR. SANDEEP KAPOOR'S (Penn) life is thrust into chaos when accused of involvement in actress and playgirl ANNA NICOLE SMITH'S (Cornish) death. As investigators swarm his home, Sandeep recounts his journey with Anna. Flashbacks reveal his initial encounters with her, drawn into her world of fame and chronic pain. Despite warnings, Sandeep forms a deep bond with Anna, navigating her medical needs while concealing his own identity as a closeted gay man.
  As legal battles ensue, Sandeep's loyalty to Anna is tested. With support from his lawyer ELLYN (Hamilton) and the revelation of his sexuality, Sandeep fights to clear his name. The trial's resolution brings closure, but scars remain.
