A group of amateur freedom fighters from various backgrounds join the guerilla troops led by Captain Hadi Sugito after they become victims of the Second Dutch Military Aggression in December 1948. Station at Panjen village, Sri, Udjo, Tumino and Ahok meet Toar, a guerilla fighter and Corporal Jono, a hapless Don Juan. It turns out, they are destined to fight together ever since Lieutenant Kuyt and his squad of KNIL soldiers attack Panjen and take Udjo’s girlfriend, Wiwid and Corporal Jono’s girlfriend, Yayuk as prisoners. The incident motivates the six guerilla fighters to free Wiwid, Yayuk, even though their commander does not give them blessing. So, armed with only their spirit and information from a KNIL soldier suffering from a concussion named Once, they go to Lieutenant Kuyt’s base. The six guerilla fighters’ bravery proves to be not enough to overcome Lt. Kuyt and his troops. They are cornered and imprisoned along with others. Consequently, for their indisciplinary, the six guerilla soldiers are dishonorably discharged from the military by Captain Hadi for in danger the plan for a massive attack to Jogja prepared by the top commanders of the Indonesian Army. But they haven’t lost the fighting spirit within them. The opportunity to prove themselves come soon after a massive attack to Jogja on March 1, 1949, led by Lieutenant Colonel Soeharto. But, this time, they are fully aware that in order for their mission to succeed they must be ready to fight to the end even if they’re outnumbered by the KNIL reinforcement troops.
