- Synopsis
- Daniel is a 14-year-old teenager fully aware of himself, of life, and of death. Daniel is diagnosed with severe heart failure and, despite the fact that several doctors believe that the only solution is a transplant, Dr. Javier Grosman considers that a previous surgical intervention can be tried. But the operation fails and Daniel enters directly on the national emergency list: he urgently needs a donor to save his life. Grosman knows that his patient has very little chance because the development of a compatible heart is practically impossible. However, the donor shows up and, despite his parents' refusal, Daniel insists that Dr. Grosman be the one to pursue his case. Against all protocols and the opinion of the hospital authorities, Grosman decides to do the transplant. The trust and bond between Daniel and Grosman become essential as they face the difficult path of a heart transplant together. It is on this plot, on this topic, on this patient-surgeon relationship that the film will travel.
