The other farmers in the village ridicule his luck and predicament. However, one day he gets a call from the Tractor showroom and a brand new tractor arrives. A few months later, Muthu realized that this Tractor was under a bank loan and he had to clear the pending EMI amount. Muthu tries to sell his tractor, but he cannot do it as the tractor is under bank hypothecation. From then on, he began to face many hardships to pay the monthly instalments. Muthu defaulted on the last two months of the tractor loan instalments, as there were poor returns from his farm. During the following year, the harvest festival is celebrated without livestock and replaced with the tractor.
