    • Synopsis
    • Stan Hunt is a red cedarwood carver, an art he learnt from his elders - master sculptors from the village of Kwakiutl, a group of remissed villages in the northern side of Vancouver island. Stan is now working on the most significant piece of his life, a 42 feet totem pole carved from a 5 tons cedar tree, 1500 years old. His piece - loaded with thousand-year-old ancient representations- will travel 15,000 km by boat to reach Río de La Plata. This is his dream, at least... in the small Fort Rupert village, nobody even thinks about how things are being planned and determined in the far and unpredictable Buenos Aires.
