- Synopsis
- Asian box office hit Tombiruo is based on the novels by best-selling Malaysian author Ramlee Awang Murshid, and tells the story of the title character who, after being cast out at birth for his horrific facial deformity, is raised deep in the jungles of Borneo by a hermit. Tombiruo manifests supernatural powers, a psychic bond with the jungle itself, and grows to be a guardian of the jungle majesty, as illegal loggers threaten to destroy his home.
