    • Takashi Aoyama, a burned-out businessman who has lost himself due to tough work and power harassment, nearly loses consciousness while waiting for his train on the platform and topples over. Just then, a train speeds in. As someone screams, a hand reaches and pulls him in, saving his life at the last minute.
      “Long time no see! It’s me, Yamamoto!”
      Showcasing his bright, toothpaste ad of a smile, Takashi’s rescuer proclaims that he is Takashi’s elementary school friend. Takashi has no recollection of him, but since this incident, Takashi and Yamamoto begin to see each other almost every day. After meeting the mysterious yet super-charming man, Takashi rediscovers his old cheerful self, and his job performance gradually improves. Then one day, Takashi looks Yamamoto up on the internet and finds a shocking truth: Yamamoto had died three years ago.
