- Synopsis
- In Mali, the Islamists invade the city of Timbuktu and will impose sharia law. They banish music, football, cigarettes, carry out forced marriages, persecute women and improvise courts make unfair and absurd sentences. Despite the ferocity of their repression, people resist with courage, often in the name of another conception of Islam. Kidane is a Tuareg breeder living in the desert with his wife and daughter. First spared his family will soon face the new Islamic laws, on the occasion of a conflict with another person.
