    • Synopsis
    • THREE TICKETS TO HOLLYWOOD is a nostalgic and dramatic comedy set in rural Yugoslavia at the time of the Cuban missile crisis of 1962. As the “strictly controlled” citizens begin to polarize between Khrushchev and Kennedy, the local policeman starts to organize a welcoming reception for Marshall Tito, the President of the Republic. During the chaos that ensues, three boys who are fascinated by the magic of the silver screen, decide to run away to sanity and Hollywood. The everyday working life of the villagers is encapsulated by the charismatic direction of Bozidar Nikolic, highlighting their hidden loves, fears, dreams, hopes and frustrations. Coupled with powerful and haunting music composed by Voki Kostic making this truly unforgettable “THREE TICKETS TO HOLLYWOOD”.
