    • Synopsis
    • “Three Sorrowful Aunts” is a documentary feature film that portrays the problems of a family through the stories of three aunts: one imprisoned during dictatorship, another who escaped from Brazil and the last one overwhelmed by depression who decides to commit suicide in the sea. Half truths, fragmented relationships and awkward silence that eventually motivate their nephew to make one last attempt to reunite his family.
