    • Synopsis
    • The neighborhood leaders, Gregoria and José Francisco, and Afro-Peruvian dance instructor, Angelo, discuss the problems of housing in Barrios Altos Monumental Heritage property which is paradoxically on the verge of collapse. Crowded, "invaded" and sought, these houses are a good excuse to reproduce the prejudices that associate Barrios Altos residents with conformity and crime.

      While Angelo rigorously rehearses and educates his students, José Francisco visits emblematic alleys and Gregoria faces a state official who shares their guilt with neighbors´ shamelessness and leaders inaction. In turn, some residents and students open the doors of their houses while producing a Creole musical show to pay tribute to the Lord of Miracles.
