- Synopsis
- Roman is an ex-con and a nihilist. When the alien invasion starts, unlike everyone (who shelters in their homes to be with their loved ones), Roman looks forward to the upcoming collapse! This young man doesn’t like people or feel connected to anything, spends his last days bumming around in the streets of Izmir. Until, he crosses paths with a Turkish-American scientist named Leyla.
  
  Leyla moved to the U.S. when she was little, graduated from the astronomy department of an Ivy League School, shielded a deadpan humor and melancholy while growing up and came to Izmir as a researcher. But when the invasion started, all civil flights have canceled and she was stuck in this beautiful Aegean town, not knowing what to do to return home or see her parents one last time. That’s when she encounters Roman.
  
  Roman who introduces himself as a pilot by force of habit continues his lie and Leia starts to prepare for going back home. The 16 hours they’ll spend until the flight takes off make them feel things they don’t want to leave behind.
