- Synopsis
- Alvin has just come out of prison, he is on parole and is starting to work at a tool and die workshop in Staten Island. He lives in a project with his grandmother, who has feeble health. He keeps a low profile, avoiding reconnecting with the crowd who ended up with him in prison. His mother, who he has not seen for many years, unexpectedly calls asking for help: she needs money to bail her out of prison. To appease his grandmother’s anxiety and worried for her deteriorating health, Alvin searches for ways to pay his mother’s bail.
