    • Synopsis
    • Seventeen-year-old cellist ELI YAGUCHI and older brother, NICK, are auditioning for the Banff School of Music in three days time. If the auditor likes their performance they’re in, if he doesn’t they might not get a second chance – as far as Eli is concerned Nick might be dead.

Nick works at a bar run by Hamilton gangster, ALEXI RADULI and owned by mobster matriarch BRENDA MICKEL. But unbeknownst to Nick, Alexi has recently broken his father’s arm. In an attempt to save her family his mother hires a hit man to permanently remove Alexi from their lives.

Nick, meanwhile, tricks Eli into them both being lookouts at one of Alexi’s stash houses, which brings them to the attention of Brenda. Seeing opportunity in the amazing cellists, she extorts them to act as performing decoys during the theft of an $8 million dollar painting.

Things go from bad to worse when the hit on Alexi is botched and his hair-trigger temper gets the best of him. Fearing retribution for his recent missteps, Alexi goes completely rogue, kidnaps Eli’s father and attempts to hijack the heist to get the $8 million for himself. But Eli has other plans.
