- Synopsis
- Berlin's Tempelhof Airport was opened in 1923 and was the central transportation node of world capital Germania. Then it became a Nazi military base and the central supply bridge to West Berlin. Ten years ago, air traffic operations ceased at the airport with identification code THF, but to this day it remains a place of arrivals and departures. Tempelhof Airport is today an emergency shelter for over 1500 refugees and a leisure park for Berliners.
