- Synopsis
- Rio de Janeiro, the 1920's. In the red light district, among bars and Candomblé yards, rascal Brancura and the Portuguese Sodré fight for the love of prostitute Valdirene, in a steamy and conflictual love triangle. Meanwhile, composers Silva, Bide, Bastos and co make plans, beats and songs for the birth of a new musical style. As those two stotylines cross, the first samba school in Brazil is born: Deixa Falar.
