Five years ago, an extraterrestrial capsule landed in Nevada. It contained a small amount of a blue goop, which seemed to have no reactive properties whatsoever.

Naturally, the U.S. military decided to poke the bear. Bad idea.

When the goop went bananas it was promptly sent to the place where they thought it could do no harm – the hottest, driest and most remote spot in the Sahara. Really bad idea.

Because the goop has now created a jungle in the middle of the desert – and it’s growing exponentially. New (and dangerous) alien hybrid creatures turn up every day.

Plus, there’s this flower, called Pita. It secretes a genuine anti-aging serum. So now there’s lots of cash to be made.

The U.S. researches the jungle for possible military applications. The big corporations lust for those rejuvenation flowers – and anything else they can turn into mountains of cash.

The ‘Zoo’, however, is a nightmarish, alien ecosystem: the Amazon rainforest on bad acid. With giant insects, carnivorous vines, and mutated predators, it’s the most dangerous place on Earth. So when scientists go in, they need the protection of heavily-armed soldiers.

Not that that always helps. Everyone who goes into the Zoo comes back either changed—or dead.
