    • Synopsis
    • Four loosely connected stories set in a small town in Kazakhstan beginning of the 90s, time of transition from the Soviet era to a new state, described by emotional and economical depression. Each of the four main characters who are all 13 years old have to go through a painful transition situation themselves which would present them to a moral dilemma and turn them from being children, or “angels”, to grown-ups and as a matter of fact get “wounded”. Emir Baigazin portrays Kazak teenagers at the fall of the Soviet Union.
