- Synopsis
- World Between Us, a feature length documentary by Director Marie Dvorakova, follows a five-year phase of the personal and professional lives of Tomanova and Beachdel—partners in work and life. We witness their passion and obsession with art, their tenacity in making their vision a reality, and the boundless effort that it requires. The film is a testimony to the moments that shape a young artist's career, with all the uncertainties and obstacles that must be overcome. The film also portrays the young artist's desire to be accepted in a new place while seeking recognition in the place Tomanova left, thus telling the story of the American dream, the search for roots, identity, and home.
