Var?, an anthropologist and indigenous woman lives in conflict. She is no longer seen as a true Marubo. In the university, she’s seen as an outsider. Delvair, an anthropologist who witnessed Var?’s birth in the 70’s, is trying to reconnect with her and with an Amazon that no longer exists.
