- Synopsis
- I went with my mother to Lisbon for the editing of the latest film by Manoel de Oliveira with the desire to find the memories of a cinema I had grown up with. This new trip to Lisbon is coupled with another, more intimate journey in the editing rooms of the twenty previous Manoel de Oliveira films. While a suitcase closes others open. The White Gloves will be a film about my filmmaking, about what the director and his editor passed on to me year after year, silently.
