    • Synopsis
    • A wedding banquet out in the country is interrupted all of a sudden when the bride finds out that the starter is spoilt. The incident relights an old fight between Hermann Walzer, father of the groom, and restaurant owner Franz Berger. Soon, everybody gets drawn into battle: the wedding guests, the restaurant staff and the other patrons. A string of coincidences keeps the escalation going, resulting in hostage-taking, a siege, a raid and the use of firearms, with a dangerous showdown ahead. Whenever the raging Walzer and Berger are about to realize their madness and to lay down their weapons, something else happens and restarts the pattern of action and reaction. Only when the groom, Mark Walzer stands up to his father, the fatal circle is finally broken.
