- Synopsis
- The path of generations is a historical drama.
  Nazar, together with the girl, stopped for the night in the forest. He is a young manager of advertising sales, lives his life and wishes not to notice that a war has started in his country. Lighting a fire and setting up a tent, the boy has no idea what events took place in this place less than a hundred years ago.
  At night a Ukrainian rebel warrior who once lived here and fought against the Soviet invaders comes to Nazar. A short but fiery conversation takes place between Nazar and the man, which changes the boy's entire life and the course of one of the battles in Donetsk region that took place in 2015 between the Russian invaders and Ukrainian soldiers. Although, maybe there was no conversation? What happened to Nazar that autumn night?
  In parallel with the battles in the east of Ukraine in 2015, the viewer has the opportunity to see the battles of the Ukrainian army in 1943 and 1944 during the Second World War.
  The main characters Hanna and Stepan come alive for us again to show the struggle of the Ukrainian people for their will in the last century.
  
  Stepan has to lose his girlfriend, his sister, and his fate hangs on the edge of a bayonet. However, he remains alive to pass on the history of the war to future generations.
  Anna is a young scout and liaison officer of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, who chooses the path of war. Despite her beauty and the opportunity to simply live, the girl chooses to fight and becomes another victim of the communist regime.
  Nazar, Stepan, Hanna - heroes of different generations, different centuries. They fight for Ukraine, using simple rifles, being completely surrounded by enemies. Because for them will is above all else. The desire to be free overcomes the fear of the enemy, who prevailing in tanks and guns.
  In the end, the desire for freedom defeats bloody enemies willing to enslave the Ukrainian people.
