- Guillermo Aguinaga is reaching the age of forty and makes a living as "El Polaco", imitating Roberto Goyeneche in a still life in downtown Buenos Aires. This frustrates him, since he is also a composer and still has the dream of being recognized for his own tangos. He is only comforted by his success with women, who from time to time make him believe that his talent will soon be rewarded.
  
  After a night spoiled by a frustrated show where he would show his compositions for the first time, Guillermo is presented with the opportunity of his life when he has in front of him, in a private show, the respectable Hayami Fushinawa, director of the tango world championship to be held next week in Japan. At the moment of proving who he really is, Guillermo sells himself as "The Polish", thus getting his ticket to the World Cup, but at the cost of renouncing his principles and betraying himself.
  
  The flight to Japan suffers a delay of an entire day that forces Guillermo to stay one night in Hong Kong. There, he meets Jason, a deaf-mute dancer who takes him to know the city with his brother and his friends, also deaf-mute.
  Wandering the streets, Guillermo delves into the folklore of the island, as well as discovers that Jason only wanted to help him steal it with the help of his brother, but something changed his mind. A lover of parkour and dancing, Jason shows his art to Guillermo and both complement each other perfectly when together they improvise street art of song and dance to finance the dinner of the whole group.
  
  The visit to a mysterious theater ends the tour, but suddenly the one they have gone to see is none other than Jason, famous dancer and actor of the under who, through the vibrations of the stage, is guiding the musical that ends up dazzling the visitor.
  
  Guillermo, for the first time away from the mandates, finds in Jason's conception of him a new way of contemplating himself and understanding himself. Only then will Guillermo be ready to face success that, perhaps, does not come in the way he always thought.
