    • Year 2000, a very hot summer. Natalia, a restless 18-year-old girl, lives with her grandmother Rita in the remote suburb of Ituzaingó. Natalia has a band of friends along with Mariela and Josefina. That band is completed with Diego, a boy with whom the three of them are madly in love. One day Diego invites them to the house of Silvia, a woman from the City of Buenos Aires who he met through Mirc, an archaic chat platform. Silvia, several years older, is a highly particular character, completely uninhibited. Some of that energy begins to seduce Diego. The rivalry quickly looms between the three suburbian girls and the woman from the city. The fact is that Silvia is fascinating. Being with her is to know unique places and characters; there is not a moment by her side in which one gets bored. Natalia tells her grandmother what is happening and her grandmother proposes to cast a spell. By appealing to vernacular macumbas, they try to neutralize Silvia's magnetism on Diego. Rita is convinced that her granddaughter has such a power. But this spell not only doesn't work, but the relationship between Silvia and Diego, first of a sexual nature, and then frankly sentimental, soon begins to consolidate. Much of this story is being written in the surroundings of Tosquera, a strange and secluded place in a rural suburb that Silvia makes them discover, where there is a hidden lagoon. Silvia tells the younger adolescents that the Tosquera remains hidden because in the humble neighborhood next to it there is a rumor that whoever bathes in there dies drowning. Natalia feels the opportunity to show herself as bold in front of the magnetic Silvia and thus attract Diego's attention, and she is the first to enter and swim in the lagoon. As the summer goes by, they continue to go to the Tosquera, but something begins to change. Natalia, Josefina and Mariela start to discover that Silvia is some kind of impostor. She neither knows so many people nor has been to so many places nor does know so many things. She lies to impress, to seduce. It is in the Tosquera that they confront her, and they do so in front of Diego, as a last attempt to break the spell. But Diego defends and forgives Silvia: after all, he is already in love. Finally, Natalia dives into the Tosquera and swims towards the darkest side of the lagoon. There she finds a small crypt and, inside of it, a figure of the dark Umbanda cult. Natalia once again tests her alleged power, and she whispers to the figure to grant her one wish: to end the love between Silvia and Diego at once. Almost instantaneously, the owner of the Tosquera land appears among the vegetation surrounded by hunting dogs and armed with a shotgun, and shoots Diego without preamble. Then, he retaliates against Silvia, capturing her alive and leading to the lagoon to drown her. Natalia, Josefina and Mariela manage to flee. Summer ends without Natalia telling anyone about her wish.
