- Synopsis
- The Vault is a Post-Apocalyptic / Sci-Fi series about a group of survivors living in an underground military base known as the Vault. Buried 5 miles beneath the Earth, this state-of-the-art facility is humanity's only remaining home. The group is lead by EVELYN PIERCE, a no-nonsense strategic and calculative General in the Armed Forces. No one leaves the Vault without her say so, and only for surveying and scavenging missions. The Vault is a sanctuary. It is humanity's only refuge from an enemy that hunts them day and night. The outside world everyone knew is gone – in its place, an Earth where nuclear winter, radiation, eternal cold and darkness remain. Outside the Vault, nothing can grow and nothing can survive... ...until one day, a squadron on a surveying mission finds an unconscious pilot by the name of NATHANIEL HALE. Hale has no recollection of where he is or how he got there. Hale is our hero, and our entrance into the Vault. It is here, in this concrete asylum, that Hale learns about the devastation that has occurred and what remains of a dying Earth.
