- Synopsis
- A mysterious letter arrives for Dr. Kimiko Taguchi (Yuko Takeuchi), a specialist in “unidentified clinical syndromes”at Tojo University Hospital.
  The letter reads:“Chief Surgeon Hayami of the Emergency Center has a collusive relationship with a medical supplies maker. And the head nurse is in on it with him.”
  Dr. Hayami (Masato Sakai) and head nurse, Hanabusa involved in shady dealings with the said medical supplies company. The company’s branch manager, Mr. Isobe, is soon found dead on hospital grounds in an apparent suicide. As it turns out, Shiratori too had received a copy of the anonymous letter.
  Rumors swirl around Emergency Center Chief Surgeon Hayami, long the object of bitter enmity among other physicians for his exceptional surgical skills but more for his coldhearted slave-driving methods, from which his nickname “General Rouge” (“General Blood”) ostensibly derives.
  “Isobe did not commit suicide. He was murdered! And Dr. Hayami’s on the take just as the letter says!”
  As a complicated web of internal relations and deeply-seated hostilities unravels, it begins to cast light on the long-concealed ambitions and hidden secrets of the enigmatic “General Rouge.”
