- Synopsis
- 1505 AD Joseon Dynasty. Tyrant king Yeonsan-gun orders his trusted subjects Im Soong-jae and his father to find the most beautiful girls for his carnal pleasures. Beautiful Dan-hee volunteers as a ‘comforter’ to avenge her father who was branded a traitor and murdered by the king. The comforters receive intense training, but Dan-hee defeats all competitors and gets selected to bed the king. Just before her chance to kill him, she gets caught. Enraged, Yeonsan-gun orders Soong-jae to execute her, but he fakes her death and sneaks her out of the palace. He then gets involved with a group of officials who are plotting to dethrone Yeonsan-gun, putting an end to the tyrant king and himself.
