- Synopsis
- While scientists around the world are constantly working on an effective cure for covid19, Antonio a nine-year-old living in Palermo Italia separated from his grandfather Giuseppe refuses to give up and thinks he has discovered the secret to treating the elderly person in his neighborhood . Helped by his brother Ciccetto, he organized a puppet show, an ancestral tradition bequeathed by his grandfather. The parents, also on the verge of losing everything, will help their son to realize his project. In the meantime, the increase in infections in the world forces a state of emergency, the borders are closed some tourists are trapped, Canada too cancels all its flights, Yvonne a Canadian tourist on a therapy trip following the violent death of her husband and her son cannot return to his country. The unexpected encounter of this child in this state of emergency will change his view of the world. A film which speaks of happiness, of the family, which brings us back to these fundamental values which should be the roots of each individual. A true metaphor of life with the puppets which are in some way an allegory of the people facing a silent war
