    • Synopsis
    • The Twenties. Störr is a tireless sea captain, dedicated to his work and respected by all. One day, while he is in a bar with a friend, he makes a bet with him that he will marry the first woman who enters the cafeteria. That's how Jacob meets Lizzy, his future wife. A simple bet, made almost for fun, will change Captain Störr's simple and disciplined life forever. From the bridges of command, he suddenly finds himself with Lizzy in a nice apartment in Paris, despite not knowing much about his mysterious wife. The new married life, however, proves to be more complicated than expected. Captain Störr's peace of mind is shaken by the increasingly obsessive search to understand an elusive woman who doesn't let anyone tell her how to live. Based on the novel 'The Story of My Wife' by Milán Füst.
