    • Synopsis
    • Opening on a remote cliff face in 1959, a distressed climber frantically attempts to escape an unseen terror before falling to his death. Moving into present day, Sean is a talented rock climber but is struggling with his confidence. Despite this, he accepts an invitation to join an expedition to the same remote wall his grandfather died on. Intially taking on a back up role for the climb, Sean and the others at base camp support the active climbers until a mysterious sound envelopes the climbers on the wall. They each struggle inside their heads against the invisible presence while the sound knocks out radio comms to base camp. After the sound passes, the 6 climbers resume their ascent until one suddenly attacks their partner while seemingly defying gravity. The possessed climber falls to his death leaving Kristen stranded on the wall. Colton, the bombastic expedition leader, refuses to end the climb and Kerrie, the base camp coordinator, working on limited info sends Sean and his partner up the wall to rescue Kristen. Sean's partner Justin isn't able to continue after injuring himself in a fall, and Sean free solos up to Kristen as Kerrie comes and collects the injured Justin. Sean and Kristen continue the ascent with each having their own reasons to climb higher. Sean and Colton eventually join up and complete the climb together and confront the source of the sound. Kristen also summits and the 3 are drawn into battle with the sound which Colton does not survive. After defeating the sound in an exciting climax, Sean and Kristen manage escape with the entity seemingly contained.
