    • Synopsis
    • Math, JP, Pacman and Marie belong to the same crew of skate kids in Paris. Every day they meet up at The Dome - behind the Museum of Modern Art, opposite the Eiffel Tower - skateboarding, goofing off or getting stoned as they ignore the smart crowd of art lovers.
Math and JP are inseparable, bound by complicated family ties. Boredom, the lure of easy money and the anonymity of the Internet all play a part in tearing their world apart.
As for Marie and Pacman, they share a wild love story. One of her secrets will kill their chances, creating damages beyond expectation.
Spending their days in between a dizzy reality and the digital world, they record the main events of their lives on their smartphones even before enjoying them.
Nothing is as it seems. From raves in fancy apartments through the luxury hotel rooms, the superficial glamour soon reveals deep rifts and hidden perversions that will destroy their ability to dream, as they find themselves unable to communicate their doubts, desires and disillusionment.
Legendary director and photographer Larry Clark ventures deeper than ever into his favorite themes, plunging the audience into a never-before-seen tribe of self-destructive Parisian youth - a no-holds-barred depiction of a world in which modern technology and its instant gratification can have devastating consequences. Made of nightmares, harsh reality and poetic images, Smell of Us reaches and unprecedented level of authenticity.
