    • Synopsis
    • In the Andalusian city of Jerez de la Frontera, in the South of Spain, the Holy Week is celebrated at the beginning of each spring.
      We open the, until know, closed and unknown doors of one of the most peculiar fraternities;
      “El Cristo de la Buena Muerte” (The Christ of the Good Death).
      A “costalero” (carrier) and his wife, a foreman, a “cantaor” (flamenco singer) and a family of Nazarenes are some of the anonymous people that lend us their unique and particular ways of seeing so we can walk beside them through the silent streets of Jerez.
      All through one night, they proudly weight on their shoulders the whole village tradition, faith, memory and folklore.
      A beautiful legacy rooted in its history for centuries which is part of the cultural treasure of a region characterized for the passion and linage of their people.
