    • Synopsis
    • A group of film professionals enter a studio to read / test / tell / live the story of "Los tontos y lo estúpidos" within a single day. Sitting around a table and led by the director (played by Roberto Álamo), the actors show us the evolution of the creative process, and how a mere story captured on a script becomes a film, through the trials of the actors, the indications, lighting or props, how that great optical illusion, cinema, allows us to enjoy the stories we see on the screen. Mario (Josean Bengoetxea), Paula (Cuca Escribano) Miguel (Aitor Beltrán) and Lourdes (Nausica Bonin) pretend, represent, appear, hide their flaws and shortcomings, deceive and delude themselves. In this process, they each try to change themselves, but (some) end up being the same as before. Others, on the way, will get tired of so many lies and acting and bet their happiness on one card. Because it’s not the same thing to be silly as to be stupid.
