- Synopsis
- Franz Giraldo, a German documentalist, uses the vacation of a boring job for a mission in Colombia to find the graves of his grandparents and his uncle to bury them with the ashes of his recently deceased father. To this must come to a village called The Silence, located in the mountains of Valle del Cauca (colombian state). But he can´t find the graves of his relatives. Then he goes to the town authorities that his identity become hostile and suspicious. But Franz did not waver in its commitment and challenge to all the community to solve the mystery surrounding his father's family. To find out count with the help of Teresa, a teacher from the small village school, which will act as a bridge between him and the world that his father left behind. Bernardo also meet a lone indigenous Embera who in the end be his most powerful ally in that place. Slowly, Franz will discover the dark secrets that took his father's grave while he becoming an increasing threat to the villagers who see with their arrival the reappearance of the ghosts they believed lost in time.
