- Synopsis
- Huge as an ocean Kyrgyzstan's lake Issyk Kull. From all sides it is
  closed by mountains. On the north side of it there is a lonely one floor
  school with white walls. The teacher of Russian language Talip doesn't
  work here anymore, he was retired. But, is it possible for Russian literature to retire? – Talip thinks. And the seagulls that fly above
  the Issyk Kul lake, aren't they like Chekhov's seagulls? Talip
  convinces pupils in the school to make a performance «Seagull» by
  Chekhov in Russian language. But it seems like nobody except for big
  Issyk Kul lake, that of course formed the scenography of the
  performance doesn't want to interact with him. Old outcast, fan of
  Russian culture, lonely and angry , poor and full with energy he will
  fight for his idea even if it will cost him his life.
