    • Synopsis
    • A post-apocalyptic story of a father and son trekking alone through burned America. Nothing moves in the ravaged landscape save the ash on the wind. The sky is foreboding and dark. It is cold enough to crack stones, and when the snow falls it is gray. Although they don't know what- if anything- awaits them there, their destination is the coast. They have nothing: just a pistol to defend themselves against the lawless bands that stalk the road, the clothes they are wearing, a cart of scavenged food-- and each other. Based on the 2007 Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Cormac McCarthy (also author of “No Country for Old Men”). Strong cast includes Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron.
