- The film is following Su Yang, a contemporary artist who grew up with the Yellow River Basin culture, got his artwork inspirations from the traditional artists of Qin Opera, Shadow Play, Hua’er and Northern Shaanxi Storytelling. They are singing the beauty of four seasons, telling their fates by instruments and strong voice.The crisscrossing stories of these five people track the living situations of Yellow River resident today, narrate the common destiny of 1.3 billion Chinese , and question , what is the future of this land and this culture?
