- Synopsis
- Patagonia, 1865. Welsh pioneers land in the Mimosa. A group of explorers go into the desert in search of El Dorado. Defeated, they return, except for one who never comes back, leaving behind his desolated wife, Melisa, and child, Kevin.
  Melisa remarries one of the explorers, but Kevin grows up full of suspicion towards his stepfather. He kills him under confusing circumstances and runs away to the Tehuelche frontier. There he meets Yenkal, the cacique's daughter.
  The young couple falls in love and have a son, but they are rejected by the tribe. Exiled from their communities, they set off on an epic journey as they struggle to survive.
