- Carmen, a 40-year-old city woman, returns to her country home after 20 years of absence due to the death of her younger brother. The repentance of the fall of acid volcanic ash forces Carmen and her entire family to a tortuous and chaotic confinement. There she understands the importance of the ritual carried by her family in order to deal with the death of her brother and to accept her soon death as a result of the ash that has fallen into her hand.
