- Synopsis
- "After Darnell is kicked off the basketball team, he is faced with reality when his mother kicks him out. Darnell becomes homeless, living out of his truck. Months later when an unexpected tragedy occurs, he is left feeling regret and remorse until he meets a waitress named Imani who he develops a connection with.
  
  Their connection grows overtime, but her sister is not fond of their relationship. Darnell learns why her sister, Raven, is so cruel to him. Finding out about her condition reminds Darnell of his past tragedy. Darnell and Raven begin to form their own special bond over time and Raven even starts to see how much Darnell cares about Imani.
  
  After surgery, Darnell struggles with his healing. When Darnell is advised by his doctor to take it easy due to a possible infection after being hurt playing basketball, he tries to do just that, but he is met with an unexpected visit from Raven’s ex, Keith. This encounter leaves Darnell in the hospital fighting for his life."
