- Synopsis
- Geologist Kristian Elkjord is a man whose private life is hanging by a thread: his obsession with his work has led him to separate from his wife Idun (Ane Dahl Torp) and to neglect his two children: university student Sondre (Jonas Hoff Oftebro) and little Julia (Edith Haagenrud-Sande). His great experience and intuition as a geologist lead him to discover that Oslo is threatened by a catastrophic earthquake, powerful enough to destroy the entire city. Convincing the people around him of this will be a difficult task, but not enough to deter him from trying to save his family trapped in one of Oslo's tallest skyscrapers, hard hit by the seismic swarm that is violently demolishing everything.
