- Synopsis
- Susana, a fishing lodge’s Mapuche owner’s daughter, learns that Casper, a Canadian environmentalist staying at the failing hotel, can help them avoid a forced sale if they veer to ethnic tourism. Eager to save the business but, above all, to innovate as her mother did long ago, showing that a mapuche woman can be a successful businessperson, she convinces her mother to discard the lodge’s German manor, build from scratch a Mapuche community in a distant prairie and link it via Casper to a premium ethnic tourism network. Already committed, she finds that Casper is grandson to the estate’s original owner –an expropriated German settler and possible Nazi- and that he wants either the house or something in it. She realizes too late what he’s after, and the bloody history of Indians and settlers repeats itself.

- The project received a US$5.000 grant from Chile's Fondo Audiovisual for the first screenplay draft in 2017.
  It received a second US$5.000 grant from Chile's Fondo Audiovisual, this time for the definitive screenplay, in 2021.
