- Synopsis
- Thomas and Rose SICA are a close-knit couple of African and Caribbean descent who work as janitors in a rough neighborhood. Their dedication and compassion for the residents of the neighborhood is unmatched, and their ability to help people solve their problems has made them local heroes. As their reputation grows, residents are beginning to think that Thomas might be the ideal president for their neighborhood. But for Thomas, it's a dream he never dared imagine, although .... However, the prospect of being able to help even more people inspires him to run.
  
  Unfortunately, his candidacy is met with unexpected obstacles. Racial prejudice, corruption, and bureaucratic hurdles stand in his way. But with the hard-won support of his wife, Rose, and local residents, Thomas refuses to give up. Between tensions, struggles and hopes, Thomas will have to navigate a minefield to be able to carry out his campaign. This is the story of a humble man who becomes a charismatic and inspirational leader for his neighborhood.
