    • Synopsis
    • Hardy makes a living selling knickknacks on the buses of Santiago. But in 2005 a Government announcement starts to trouble him: we will soon become a “World Class” country, we will have a modern and elegant public transportation system, so we will tolerate his work no longer. He gathers two thousand colleagues and together they struggle to survive modernity. They manage to relate their case to congressmen and authorities, but their petitions do not achieve any real changes. 2007 and Transatiago arrives. Chile doesn’t change its precarious image, but Hardy learns, for better or for worse, that modernity is not as much about changing reality but about changing the image that we sell of it.
