Joseph - a reluctant teenage father-to-be, embarks on a spirit-breaking quest to save the life of his pregnant girlfriend and their unborn child. His surreal odyssey begins in the Philippines, transitions to the soul-devouring labor camps of Arabia, and ends at the peak of the mythical Mount Gulsuk.

- Synopsis
- Joseph is a carefree 16-year old student from a farming town in the Philippines. He accidentally gets his girlfriend, Dolores, pregnant. Consumed by fear, Joseph attempts to abort the baby. But things take a turn for the macabre when Dolores’ womb starts bleeding endlessly.
  
  Racked with guilt, Joseph discovers that the only way to save Dolores is to go the peak of Mt. Gulsuk - a mythical mountain that grants a single wish to anyone who can reach the apex. During his trek, he sleeps in a hut for pilgrims, only to wake up and find himself completely surrounded by flames. The hut burns with Joseph trapped inside. The flames dissolve into the setting sun, bleeding over the vast desert sandscape of Arabia.
  
  Joseph is now an underpaid, overworked construction worker in Arabia. His meager salary forces him to resort to selling bootleg alcohol to earn enough money for Dolores’ hospital bills. This illegal side-job leads to a series of dark events and he ends up
  killing a fellow Filipino laborer. Joseph is sentenced to be beheaded for his crime. But, moments before execution, he is transported to the peak of Mt Gulsuk.
  
  At the peak of Gulsuk, Joseph discovers what lies at the end of his quest: A grotesque, man-eating Beast. The Beast has been waiting for Joseph all his life. It asks him to make one final sacrifice to save Dolores and their unborn child. Battered, broken and with no other option, the young father agrees. The Beast tears Joseph apart limb from limb and devours his life.
