- Synopsis
- Wesley, a young deaf boy in remote North Dakota, on his way home from school, discovers a mysterious man bleeding in a ditch. Unbeknownst to his parents, he helps the man into a nearby barn, and helps him recuperate with food that he sneaks away from his own home. As the man recovers, a fragile but necessary bond forms between the two. When the man begins to enlist Wesley in his underworld dealings, Wesley must reconcile his new friendship with his concern for his own and his family's safety.
