    • Synopsis
    • A family changes its farming practices to take permanent care of its daughters. The family of Yorlis, the mother of four children, lives in the heart of the Montes de María mountains. Two sisters, Rosa and Mildred, suffer from constant seizures, loss of consciousness, numbness in their legs and joint pain. Before, Mildred used to run around, play, help her family and study. Everything got drastically worse after she was given the Human Papillomavirus vaccine (HPV).

The film unfolds around the coexistence of the family as they sow, cook, fetch water from the stream, harvest and play with the children, while facing up to the impotence of dealing with a strange disease, without financial resources, state support or an accurate diagnosis or treatment that will improve the health of their daughters. This horror film explores the limits of a farming family’s love in the midst of health problems and the ghosts of war.
